Julie is a makeup artist, hairstylist, educator, holistic wellness coach, and writer. Her work can be seen in print, on the runway and in film and television. Julie specializes in bridal hair and makeup. She has shared her talent for more than 850+ weddings and special events.
In addition to the awards she’s earned with CBA/Smart and Chic, Julie has also been individually recognized as the Best Makeup Artist in the Twin Cities by XoVain, the Best Makeup Lesson in MN by Minnesota Monthly, the Best Bridal Service by Minnesota Monthly a Finalist for the 2014 MN Bride Best Hair and MakeupAward and the MSP Wedding Magazine Diamond Award for Outstanding Wedding Day Hair and Makeup.
Julie has combined her business and creative writing education, Cosmetology training, holistic wellness training, and her 22+ years of beauty industry experience to create this blog, a makeup school, a magazine, and a cosmetics line.
